App Layering elastic shortcuts

Elastic shortcuts With the new elastic shortcut feature, App Layering admins can assign elastic app layers to appear as shortcuts on the desktop. When configured this way, the layers will be delivered to the machine at the time of launch, instead of attaching them all during user login, hence reducing user login time and improving the end-user experience.

HTML log supported with Automated Configuration Tool. Automated Configuration Tool (ACT) now supports HTML logs. ACT now comes with HTML logs to assist in troubleshooting. You can view all the ACT logs, command execution details, errors and fixups in the HTML log.

Support for storage migration of VMs in VMware environments

With this feature, in a VMware environment, you can move the disk storage of existing VMs from an old storage to a new storage. During migration, MCS retains VM capabilities such as power management, reset OS disk, and so on. You can also add new VMs to the machine catalog using the new disk storage.

MCS supports launch template as a machine profile input in AWS

Machine Profile support for MCS on AWS
